Your link didn’t work so I can’t tell which one you’re looking at. Oh, okay, found it. It looks okay but it’s got a plastic reservoir and I don’t like those. They get cloudy in time. If you get an awful lot of birds you might want to look at a larger capacity one. Whichever one you get, make it a glass one. They last far longer than the plastic ones and the glass jar is easier to keep clean. The plain red and yellow colouring on the Perky Pet ones is best. For nectar, just use 1 part sugar to 4 parts water, bring it to a boil, let it cool before filling the feeder. No food colour, it’s unnecessary. The brand name nectars might be fine but will cost you a lot more money. My birds have gone though 25 lbs of sugar so far this year to give you some idea of how much food they can get through, Sugar is fairly cheap compared to buying the nectar mixtures, and you can buy sugar anywhere any time.

I see a lot of hummingbirds hovering over the feeder in my backyard but there are lots of bees that scare the hummingbirds away because the bees are trying to drink the nectar from the feeder. Is there any way I can keep the bees away from the feeder?

Well, I would try hiring an exterminator, but that would only apply for really big colonlies, or if you have a hive. I would suggest hanging some bee traps around your feeder. I think they sell some at Home Depot, but I’m just guessing.
